Ketubahs by Danny Azoulay Born in Morocco, Daniel grew up in the northern Galilee town of Qiryat Shmona, and studied in Jerusalem at the Bezalel Art Academy. In his art, the landscapes of Daniel's childhood are combined with Jewish symbolism, artistic and architectural motifs from Europe, Morocco and Israel. Danny brings to all his work a dedication to perfection, which is attested to by his careful attention to details of design, color and execution. His creativity expresses itself in all the lovely objects which blossom from his Jerusalem studio. All reflect deeply traditional aspects of the rich Jewish experience. All of Daniel Azoulay's ketubahs are printed by the giclee method – modern day lithography – cut by laser and hand-embellished with 24 karat gold leaf. Each ketubah is dated, numbered and signed by the artist and is one of a limited edition. It not only imbues the marriage ceremony with beauty, but is an artwork to be lastingly treasured by future generations. It is the new couple's first family heirloom. |
